I had a Peregrine Falcon eating a bird in my yard 1/20/10.
I know they are not supposed to be here in winter. I live in Camelot Subdivision - SW corner of I55 and I80. Woods and open fields. I have seen one here several times in the past from Feb. to early spring. It took off just as I got back to the window with my camera. I hope to see it again with the camera ready.

Saw 2 bald eagles flying over the islands behind my house on Kankakee River Dr in Wilmington, 1/2 mile east of the Pheasant Farm. Wow - what a sight!
