Indigo bunting came to sit on top of my iron poles near the feeders. Just sat
there looking around, flew off and returned twice.

We had an Orchard Oriole at our oriole feeder this morning around 6:30AM! A backyard first for us.

Took a short walk on the I & M canal trail this morning in Gebhard Woods in Morris, IL. Several Blue-gray Gnatcatchers were seen as well as E. Phoebe, Brown Thrasher, and Tufted Titmouse.
Back at home I had our first Eastern Towhee in the yard. Also, Barn Swallows as of last Thursday.
