Indiana’s Jasper-Pulaski Wildlife Area. We will be seeing 10 – 20,000 sandhill cranes and possibly a whooping crane. The date may change if cranes are arriving late. Check chapter website for update.

Depart Noon- return late about 7:00PM from Bird Haven Greenhouse, 225 N.Gougar Rd & Rte 30, Joliet, IL.

Starved Rock SP & Illinois visitor Center - Lock & Dam, Utica, IL. We should see lots of eagles and gulls, along with woodland birds. We will do lunch at Duffy’s in Utica.

Depart- 7:00 AM- return about 3:00PM from Cracker Barrel Restaurant parking lot, 1511 River Boat Center, I-80,Joliet, IL. This trip is replacing Lock & Dam#13, Fulton, IL.

Gull Frolic, Winthrop Harbor Yacht Club. Lots of great gull and duck watching. A small fee includes lunch & program. Dress warmly, but lots of room for inside viewing.

Hennepin & Hopper Lakes, Hennepin, IL. This has 2,600 acres, restoration project from corn& soybean fields, now includes lakes, prairies, savannas, marshes, and wet meadows. Wonderful for migrating waterfowl and lots more birds to see.
